Airport departure area facilities

Check-in, security control, reduced mobility assistance, shops, boarding areas, etc.

Terminals

Malaga airport has two terminals, Terminal 2 (T-2) and Terminal 3 (T-3) joined together without separation. As a curiosity, Terminal 1 has been inoperative for years due to its obsolete structure and the fact that it became too small after the boom in tourism in Malaga.

Check-in stations

Check-in points are located in both terminals, with EasyJet mainly using Terminal 2 and Ryanair (and most) using Terminal 3. Check the screens and your boarding pass application to find out where to go.

Security control

The security checkpoint is located at the end of Terminal 3. To gain access you will need to scan your boarding pass. Make sure you comply with the security measures. We inform you about them in the following section. If you are carrying checked baggage, please deposit it at the check-in point before entering the security checkpoint, otherwise you will have to pay an extra fee at the boarding gate.

Do you need reduced mobility assistance?

To request assistance, go to the counter in the middle of the two terminals, which is easy to find.
