Terminal 3
International Gateway
Handles the majority of international flights.
The newest and most modern terminal, opened in 2010.
Features spacious design, improved passenger flow, and a wide range of services.
Arrivals from the Schengen area
Passport control is mandatory.
The arrivals area for Schengen countries is located in Terminal 2. The airline will take care of disembarking in Terminal 2 itself or, if the plane parks in a non-Schengen or remote area, they will transfer you by bus. The baggage carousels are located just after passport control.
Arrivals from non-Schengen countries
The arrivals area for non-Schengen countries is located in Terminal 3. If the plane parks at Terminal 2 or remotely, a bus will drop you off at the same arrivals area where you will arrive directly at the baggage carousels.
How to leave the airport
It’s very easy, the Schengen and non-Schengen arrivals areas are connected. As a reference, continue straight towards the Duty Free shop. When you exit, you can go outside where you can head to the train, bus or taxi, car rental and arrivals car park.
If you have a connecting flight, you can go to the departures area without leaving the airport.
Check-in desks
The check-in desks for each airline are spread out across both terminals. Most are located in T-3 (such as Ryanair), while EasyJet uses T-2. Don’t worry, as there are plenty of screens that will tell you where to check in your luggage for your flight.
Once you have checked in (or if it is not necessary), the next step is to go to security control.
Security check
Security control is located at the end of T-3.
Remember that compliance with security protocols is mandatory.
Boarding area
Once you have passed through security, as is usual at airports, you will enter the boarding gate area through a duty-free shop.
Once you leave the shop, whether you have resisted the temptation to buy something or not, you will find T-2 on your left (gates A, B, C) and T-3 on your right (gate D). If you have any doubts, the terminal is marked with lines leading to each boarding area. You can also keep up to date at all times via the screens.
